Converse's are one of the few shoes that are able to cross gender, musical and cultural barriers, from 90's Westcoast Hip-Hoppers to Grunge rockers and even lovers of Grime, they've played an important role in almost every musical genre in the past 30 years. And as a testament to this Converse have joined up with Vice magazine have joined up to launch their very own tour to help celebrate the start of what is to be a year long celebration of the British Music scene...

“To further celebrate UK music culture, Converse is going on tour with Vice and we want you to be there. Iconic genres of British music, from punk to Britpop to dubstep, will inspire a series of five parties held in indie venues in Nottingham, Bristol, Sheffield, Liverpool and London. A line-up of special guest DJs will play exclusive sets of their British music influences to ensure these parties all tell a unique story of UK creativity.”

And if that wasn't enought to tempt you, Converse are also offering free downloads of their song  “Didn’t Know What Love Was,” which can be downloaded from, which features remixes from garage Power houses Hot City and Hudson Mohawke.
